This is Juggle, v1.0

Juggle is a juggling animation program. It can display *many*
different juggling patterns. You can specify the pattern for it to
display, or tell it to pick a random one.

At the moment, Juggle comes with a bog-standard curses display and a
Silicon Graphics IRIS GL display - no X interface, I'm afraid (I don't
have time to learn X). But it should be very easy to implement for
someone who knows how - the graphics interface is all contained in
juggle.h. I'd appreciate a copy of an X interface if anyone does
write one.

Juggle sprang up from a great article in a March '95 issue of New
Scientist, by Ian Stewart. The man page gives some of the details
from that article.

It's been tested on a DECstation (Ultrix) and a Silicon Graphics
Indigo (Irix). To install, just customize the Makefile at the top and
type

	install-bsd if you're on a BSD-type system
	install-sysv if you're not

The next version (when I get around to it) will be able to switch
juggling patterns in mid-juggle - I think I've worked out the
condition for patterns to switch (the concatenation of the two
patterns must also be a valid pattern).

Have fun with it.
